Q: I have found a headstone that is same as one on your website that is cheaper, would T. Bell Memorials beat the price?
A: We would do our very best to beat the price if the memorial is exactly the same (written proof must be given), and the other memorial company must actually service the area the memorial is fitting in. However, from our previous customers, we have been told that we are one of the most competitive companies in Northern Ireland and this should not happen in too many cases.
Q: How long do we have to leave the ground to settle before we erect a headstone?
A: 6 months if a foundation is required. However, if there is a concrete plinth, e.g. as
found in Roselawn Cemetery and New Blair's Extension, the headstone can be fitted immediately after the burial.
Q: How long will it take from ordering my headstone to building the memorial?
A: If the memorial you have chosen is in stock, it could be built within 4 weeks or less but
could be extended due to conditions such as weather, location of cemetery or permission given by local authorities and church committees.
Q: Are there any extra costs after the memorial has been ordered?
A: Absolutely not! The total cost given when ordered is
the only total that will be paid when the work is completed. The cost will include the memorial engraved, erection in the cemetery with VAT at 20% and any council/churchyard fees if applicable.
Q: How do I know that my memorial is going to be made and erected to the highest standard?
A: Taught by my father with over 55 years' experience in the monumental trade and with over 25 years' experience myself, I am the first person to visit the grave and the last person to leave as I personally engrave and erect every memorial. This alone ensures a very high standard is always maintained.
